Disgusting wifi performance and stability
I wish i could give zero stars as this has to be the worst ISP in the world. Whats the use of having wifi when your only hope of having "stable" connection is with a LAN cable. Even with the cable plugged in you are not guaranteed a decent connection. At the time of writing this I am attempting to run a speed test, but 10 minutes of waiting for the page to load is an indication of the type of speeds Im getting. There hasnt been one day where I havent lost connection on any device connected, and forget about calling after 8 when the problem occurs the most. There is no customer assistance at that time. Im sure Telkom must be concerned that Cool Ideas is trying to take over as the worst ISP in SA.

upon investigation we see that the issues you are experiencing are due to wireless performance on not the actual fibre line, as per our terms and conditions we cannot guarantee speeds over wifi but we can guarantee speeds up to your router so any device plugged in will enjoy the full speeds you pay for.
with regards to the wireless side our team are equipped to assist in trouble shooting this aspect and assisting in getting the best possible speeds over wireless and where it is out of our scope due to interference factors they will provide suggestions that you can apply to your exisiting network to improve the experience.
We believe a member of our support team has been in touch to confirm this and you are going to plug in your streaming devices and make use of the 5Ghz network where necessary. should you have any further issues feel free to mail complaints @ cool ideas .c o.za
