Cool Ideas will cost you thousands
We moved our small website business’ fibre internet to Cool Ideas Service Provider on 1 May and only got connected to the internet on 12 May. We had to fork out thousands of rands to get connected via LTE. When we requested Cool Ideas take responsibility and give us credit they simply pointed us to their T&C’s washing their hands of any responsibilities and sticking it to the small guy. Stay away from this not-so-cool internet provider.

We are sorry to hear of this frustration
Upon invstigating we have found that the delay in service was due to the FNO (Fibre Network Operator) not configuring the line correctly and thus resulting in our staff having to log a support call on your behalf ensuring they reconfigure the line correctly, unfortunately we cannot credit for the days between order and go live as this portion is not controlled by the ISP. we also cannot credit on personal data used again as this is out of our control. we can discuss a credit for the time at which the line was confirmed live and the delay between when our staff tested this with you and when they had to log this with frogfoot until resolution.
kindly reply to the latest ticket you have opened should you wish to proceed with this option
