Cool Ideas no so Cool anymore.
We find all too often our internet speed drops to ridiculous lows. We have excellent service from Cool Ideas until they teamed up with Vumatel, after that service levels went to nothing and support is less than acceptable. We recently had a three day outage and not an sms from them to apologise or even an estimated time of reconnection. Just the blame game. No, we will start looking for an alternative in the new year.

we have always been in partnership with Vumatel since fibre to the home launched, we work closely with their team and if there are any outages we post this on our announcements page for the community to see. in most cases by the time an sms is sent the outage is resolved and this could cause false positives.
if you are just experiencing slow speeds our technical team is well equipped to assist with troubleshooting and resolving this. kindly email complaints @ cool ideas . co .za if you have support reference numbers that are not resolved we are happy to assist
