Cool Ideas is a bad idea
I have been trying for 3 weeks now to get my OTP moved and have made very little progress.
Cool Ideas are very helpful most of the time, but empty promises have been made over and over while I sit with no internet losing money I can't really afford to lose and they happily continue to charge me for a service I am not getting and nobody is making any attempt to resolve.
I have been told multiple times that my case would be escalated and I have still not heard from Vumatel at all, except for the lady who said she was from Vumatel and sked me to pay before receiving and invoice and luckily I didn't because I was never contacted again and nobody arrived to move my OTP so it was nothing but ****.
3 weeks ago I would have told anybody that Cool Ideas is the best ISP in the country, now I'm looking around for alternatives.
Shocking service and empty promises at my expense, nothing more!

we have received feedback that the request to move your ONT (Optical Network Terminal) is not possible as you wish to move it from one cottage to another, in this case the FNO (Fibre Network Operator) requires us to place a new order and not a move order as this is their process due to how the infrastructure is laid and how it feeds back to the distribution box.
We believe the team was in touch to clarify this, we are at the mercy of the fibre line provider in this case and have to follow their procedures.
