Commendable!

I appreciated the comforting calm assurance in Alex's manner and tone over the phone. His professionalism, as he helped me early this morning, made it easy not to panic nor for me to feel stupid when there was a breakdown of communication. His patience and humour was noted. I have now learned that the UPS 9mhz cable will not work on the fibre box. After implementing the 12mhz cable belonging to the router (which I had to dig around for as it had been long packed away) all worked as it should. My concern is that the small VOLCANO UPS may be causing the connectivity issues we have been having intermittenly and for some months now. I will keep an eye on this. At any rate, the aftercare with Cool Ideas is commendable.
