Cannot in good nature recommend them

This is a public service announcement:

I apologise to anyone that I may have recommended Cool Ideas Service Provider to. It seems they are happy to get the business but not so happy in ending it. Now well their Facebook team is certainly friendly and quick to respond I wish the same could be said for their other departments. This is not the case. After realizing at the end of July we would be moving at the end of September, I messaged their FB team to see if they could supply the area I was moving to with internet so if they did I could stick with the same internet provider I had been happy with. I was informed that yes they do service that area and it seemed I would be able to keep with the same service provider. On Monday, the 3rd September, I contacted them again with regards to arranging the transfer of service. They then directed me to their Connect team. I did this and received a confirmation email acknowledging receipt of the email. Their team only responded on the 5th and told me they cannot supply the area and sent cancellation on my behalf. This I did appreciate. Now the fun bit, as it turns out - even though it is not a contract/ no signing - you need to give a months notice to stop the service. I was under the pretense due to faulty information that I would be able to keep using them and therefore did not reach the proper time (by 2 days) to give "appropriate" notice. They have said they only received cancellation notice on the 5th and will charge me until end of October, even though as I have stated I was only late in notice due to an error on their side. So to all who I have recommended them too. I retract that and apologise if I have gotten you into bed with these people. I truly am sorry. Also I apologise to the FB team of Cool Ideas, who I stick to what I said about them at least being friendly. I'm not even mad about the bad info - mistakes happen. I'm unhappy with the company on a whole and their clear lack of customer care.

You can also consider this a review as I couldn't find a review section on their page (maybe I suck at looking) but my final result is 1 star (even that is generous)
