Pathetic quality at unreasonable prices

<p>I recently had what I thought was a blow-out. Upon further inspection I noticed that the tread had come away on the inner and outer edges of the tyre otherwise known as delamination. This fault in the tyre could have been fatal, I expect safety to be a priority. I did not hit any potholes but due to the tread coming away, my rim now has a buckle in it which only occurred because of the useless tyres I have. This will cost money to repair. I have already replaced one Continental tyre before due to a crack in the tyre sidewall. Bearing in mind that the second tyre had less than 10 000 km of usage on it and the tyre cost well over R2 000 I have to say thar Continental produces terribly poor tyres at ridiculous prices that are not durable at all. The tyres are incredibly noisy on the road too. I am not the only person suffering from Continental tyres, it seems this brand truly lacks credibility. I have run out of patience and faith in this brand. Continental, you owe me an explanation as to why your 'high-quality tyres' perform worse than cheaper tyres which are more readily available too!</p>
