CONTINETAL MTB TYRE

I got a Continetal mountain bike tyre for my birthday end of May 2022. In Sept 2022 I did the Karoo 2 Coast mountain bike race and at 35km per hour the new tyre burst. We took the tyre back and was informed by the shop that they had a few tyres returns with defects. Continental did look at the tyre and my rim and their finding was that my rim was ok and that the tyre got damaged when taking it off the rim.....ha ha ha it burst when cycling how can I remove a tyre while cycling it does not make sense. They refuse to replace this tyre under warranty and I have to take the nock of +-R750. This is really bad service and will not buy a Continental ever again.
