Unflagging of woolworths account
Good day I was under debt review but withdrew from it. I now forwarded the 17.w form that was sent to my creditors and my woolworths account still seem to be flagged. How long does it take for it to be, "unflagged"? I've tried contacting consumer friend again but couldn't get hold of them. Please assist.

Thank you for your complaint.
Please note that our offices are already in receipt of the Form 17.W submitted to us from your debt counsellor, however the document relates to an option that does not release you from the debt review process.
Due to a determination already made in terms of section 86(7) of the NCA, the debt counsellor can only suspend provision of service, but remains the debt counselor on record. This means that you cannot be removed off the process and neither can any of your accounts be 'unflagged' unless you satisfy the debt review obligation.
You may contact the debt counsellor for further information in this regard.
Kind Regards
