Connex connect advertises itself as it COULD be the solution to all your remote control issues, a one for all, even specifically mentioning IR remotes. The stupid app after days of struggling, won't connect a NON SMART TV to it, like a universal remote app you can even download online. You need to make sure, ALL appliances you wish to connect to and ads DIY are able to connect to WiFi themselves first OR this product is useless.
