CONNEX TECHONOLGY selling defective goods online.

I decided to go local in these hard times and not import which has turned out to be a mistake with CONNEX TECHONOLOGY. Ordering a DELL notebook replacement keyboard ONLINE from them they were quick to sell and it took a week to arrive. On arrival the keyboard was defective out the box with a non functioning key. From receiving the item to notification of the defect was 25min, sent pictures along with the courier delivery note linked to the email date/time stamp. A day later their SALES representative responded and refused to replace citing on the invoice "no warranty" on OVER THE COUNTER goods, this was ONLINE thus no chance to inspect for defects so one expects that CONNEX TECHNOLOGY will sell a new item free of defects. How CONNEX TECHONOLOGY operates ONLINE sales using this clause as they should know the CPA stance on this and there are past cases to refer to is either ignorance or just plane arrogance. Their sales representative put me in contact with their complaints department and it has been 6 days with no response. I would not recommend CONNEX TECHONOLGY and will definitely never do business with them again.
