<p>The markup on phones in South Africa is an obscenity for the most part, and both Apple and Samsung are particularly overblown for what you get.</p> <p> </p> <p>Connected Devices is offering great "alternative" phones at reasonable prices. I bought the OnePlus 3T at which has the same power as the Google Pixel but costs literally half as much. Minimalist UI, crazy charging speed, great build quality, and just an all round great phone.</p> <p> </p> <p>And while it's a bit more expensive than buying directly from a Chinese reseller, Connected Devices is very responsive and you have piece of mind that if anything goes wrong you'll be able to resolve it (the internet is full of horror stories).</p> <p> </p> <p>Highly recommend, would buy again.</p> <p> </p> <p>(Also, good grief this phone is fast)</p>
