Very, very bad customer service from Computer Mania the Grove

I bought a SSD from Computer Mania The Grove on 24 May and on 30 May 2024 I left Gauteng province to go bury my dad who passed away on 29 May in Limpopo province. Before I left Gauteng province, I got a technician to install the SSD and the PC was working fine for about 2 or 3 days while I was in Limpopo province but it suddenly slowed down and after trying to reboot it, it gave me a blue screen, went into automatic repair and became non-responsive. When I came back to Gauteng province I took the PC for repairs and I was told that the SSD I bought from Computer Mania was faulty and thus *******ing any data loaded on it including Windows. I went to Computer Mania and explained my situation to the manager. Even after explaining my situation to him, he was so fixated on explaining their 10 days policy that the SSD has to be taken to their supplier who will test it to determine if it is faulty and would in most probably give me another one. I tried explaining my situation to him that I was in Limpopo province since 30 May and only came on June 9 and that I have urgent clients’ work that I needed to but my plea for assistance fell on deaf ears. He even left me standing talking to one of his colleagues in the shop to go and assist other clients. To say I’m such at such lack of empathy is an understatement but I’m at a loss for words for the kind of treatment I received from a senior person who should be looking after clients.

Good day Collen. It is my understanding that the hard drive was tested in store and found to be functional. The hard drive has been sent to the OEM for testing and the store will be in touch with you shortly. Regards

The drive you say was functional has been tested by various technicians as well as Matrix Gift Acres and found to be defective. While at the store, I gave your guys a letter from Matrix which indicated the drive was indeed defective as they tested it not once but many times. A technician from your store tested it by just plugging it into an enclosure but didn't insert it into my laptop. From your response, it seems you are defending your guys without any proof. I will go into the store once they call me with my laptop and they will insert the drive and see if it works. You guys have no shame at all!!! Do you think I can bring back an SSD and say it is not working when it is working? I'm the one suffering after all

I even showed one of your guys screenshots of my laptop and he admitted that is what happens when an SSD is defective and if this platform was able to accommodate pictures, I would post screenshots right here.
