Terrible Service, Broken Promises, and Faulty Recommendations

I’m honestly shocked at the poor experience I’ve had with Computer Mania.

The laptop that failed was recommended to me by their staff, yet it developed a major hinge issue — twice. I was told the repair would take 2 weeks, but after 4 weeks of silence, I was told my warranty was void due to a small cosmetic scratch — something completely unrelated to the actual structural fault.

Instead of support, I got handed a R6000 repair bill for a second-time failure on a laptop they pushed me to buy. No responsibility taken. Just excuses and blame-shifting.

This wasn’t just a bad product. It was a complete failure in customer service and after-sales care. I will not be returning, and I strongly recommend others avoid Computer Mania if they care about reliable service, honest advice, and proper support when things go wrong.
