Poor customer service, ********* conduct

At a time when small businesses struggle to survive I desperately needed my trusted Epson printer. Have been using it for over three years, excellent product but then ran out of ink and was unable to purchase in Cape Town so popped into Computer Mania Bayside and decided to buy another one so that I can have a backup to ensure work can continue at all times. I went for the L3160, R 3999.00, 3 years guarantee, (even though the receipt said 1 year?) Set it up, remember I have been using printers for at least the past 20 years - after printing two pages it mallfunction and paper got stuck. Called customer service who referred me back to Computer Mania as Pinter was unable to scan proof of payment Epson required. Went into Computer Mania (none of my urgent work done) They removed paper and told me was just a blib. This morning, started working around 6h00. Same thing after 3 pages printed it jammed, wait for 9h00 to take the printer back and ask for a refund as there is clearly something wrong with this product - response “ customer malfunction” we can not replace or refund so I am back home with a ***** printer. I am putting this on record to advise you of the problems I experienced using this service and product, at a time where we are all trying our utmost to survive
