*********** service and rude employees.

Incredibly disappointed with the service I received at Computer Mania, Brooklyn Mall, Pretoria. I went to them to do a simple data transfer from my old HP unit to the brand new HP unit. The technician, Dylan Kotze, first imported the incorrect data to the new unit as he had a similar job with another client. Once this was supposedly rectified, I went to retrieve both units. The technician turned the old one on to show it was still working, but did not do this with the new one. I mistakenly assumed all was well. When I tried to turn the new unit on it stated that there was no functioning software on the device and that I needed to review the functioning of the hard drive. I immediately returned the unit after which Dylan tried to blame the fault on me saying I must have done something. When I argued that I had simply turned the device on and he must have done something he proceeded to tell me to calm down and actually laughed because I was upset. He then kept the unit saying he would try and solve the problem. This whole process had taken four days so far with Dylan becoming more rude each time I went to see him or contacted the store.

The unit remained with him for a following three days where I received zero communication as to what was happening. Eventually he stated that there were problems with some of the internal ports and the unit needed to be sent back to the manufacturers. He wrote a damage report and I returned the unit to the manufacturers who then informed me the next day that the damage report was completely inaccurate and the hard drive had been reformatted and therefore *******ed. They replaced the hard drive within two days.

I might also add that Computer Mania stopped answering my phone calls to the store because when I called from an alternative device they answered immediately whereas I would have to try several times with zero response. I would absolutely not recommend their services.
