Horrible service
Their service is horrible. Had to have my laptop repaired after six months (because the battery just suddenly stopped working) and they told me it would take 3-4 weeks to repair. After 4 weeks, I had to call them and ask if it was ready to be picked up and the shop couldn't tell me if it was ready or not. Taking 4 weeks to repair a laptop that is basically brand new is unacceptable. Would not recommend buying from them.

27 Jul 2022, 11:29Computer Mania has contacted me and informed me after 4 weeks that they're having difficulty procuring parts for a 6 months old laptop. I will thus be waiting at least 5 weeks for my laptop. My emails and calls have gotten me nowhere and I am dismayed at how terrible their service is. I would dissuade anyone from buying anything from Computer Mania.

Computer Mania has contacted me and informed me after 4 weeks that they're having difficulty procuring parts for a 6 months old laptop. I will thus be waiting at least 5 weeks for my laptop. 28 Jul 2022, 15:45It's been almost 30 days and apparently my laptop has been lying around at their supplier. It has now been shipped to Acer South Africa after 30 days of no one doing anything with it. While head office has been answering my mails and calling me - this does not solve the problem of their inefficient repairs system. If you're considering buying from Computer Mania because of their warranty I would not recommend it.
