COMPUTER MANIA WARRANTY ISSUES

We have bought a Asus laptop with 2 year warranty in January 2023. It was a expensive model and cost R16999. It stopped working and didn't power on towards the end of April. After giving it in at Computer Mania Cape Gate on the 27th of April 2023, we have not received it back. They initially stated it will be 1 week, we are basically at 3 weeks already. The laptop is being used for studying and this is a super important time as exams are coming up, and programs like AUTOCAD is needed to write exams. The one employee said around 10 days ago that they have not yet started working on it. We have not heard anything since. There's a reason for a warranty and at the moment I feel like it was useless anyway. 137135 was the repair reference number received.
