Bad customer service

Computer Mania at Cavendish Square, Cape Town, the staff lack basic social skills and customer service. I ordered and bought an expensive battery for the inside of a laptop (not the power cord) as the they told me the battery was faulty. Their advice was to pay for an expensive brand and it will last. 18 months later its no longer working. They could not find the quote or the invoice, or the email address on their system, said they only do cash sales, even though it had been ordered in and the quote emailed to me. I gave them the quote number and then they found it on their PC suddenly.

Its a "tough luck" situation, you must "buy another battery, and it will probably break in 18 months again. No offering to test or maybe try resolve the situation with the supplier. "We can try fix the laptop for R 450 to R 750 per hour" Who charges that much and do you get free wine with the R 750 per hour charge?" No thank you. I will never use them again. Their attitude is horrible. Their are plenty of computer suppliers who have better customer service.
