Legal action to be taken and nowhere to go

<p>I received the following sms yesterday - Urgent notice - your account is in arrears. Please call *** to make arrangements. You have 24 hours to make payment before you are handed over for legal action. </p> <p> </p> <p>I called the number all day yesterday, to no avail. I tried again this morning, and after a few attempts to find out where I was, the lady was quite reluctant to give me any information. I had apparently app**** for a car loan in August 2015. Not sure why I would have as I was not looking for a car. From doing this application I was told I had automatically agreed to sign up for membership of R390 and then R89pm. </p> <p>I explained to the lady that I am comletely unaware of this, and never agreed to anything, but it is like speaking to a brick wall, and they just could not be bothered to listen. This is clearly a quick money-making ****, and they are tapping into the lives of poor people who dont know any better. </p> <p>I cannot pay for anything that I am not aware of, so I guess I will be handed over to their legal team, after which once I receive the documentation, I can approach my lawyers and sort this out. Happier to pay my money to someone who earns it. </p> <p>We need to get rid of these **** businesses. </p>
