<p>I app**** for a loan on the LCT Finance website on the 10 May 2016 for the amount of R3000.<br /><br />I then in turn cancelled the application the very next day, on the 11 May 2016, as per the email below:<br /><br />"</p> <p>On Wed, 11 May at 12:05 PM , Khanyisa Qamata ********** wrote:</p> <p>Hi,<br /> <br />Please cancel any and all request from me.<br />I am not interested in any of your services, nor am I interested in a loan.<br /> <br />Do not debit any amount from my account as I have not given any consent to any of this.<br /> <br />Regards<br />Khanyisa Qamata"<br /><br />I still kept receiving sms's about upaid premiums, and each time I would call to rectify this matter, the call center operator would assure me that it has been cancelled.<br /><br />As per the terms and conditions on their website, my cancellation is completely above board and I owe them no money, as per below:</p> <p> </p> <p>"4. All clients receive notification via email of acceptance of our services. Once accepted applicant has 5 days to cancel their application from date of application for LCT Finance 4 in 1 service package.</p> <p>5. In an event of cancellation outside the 5 day cooling off period we will charge a reasonable cancellation fee of R199.00 once off."<br /><br />Yesterday 26 October 2016, I now receive a letter from a company called CreditPro stating that I owe R589.80</p> <p> </p> <p>I contacted CreditPro and spoke to a lady by the name of Jazeel, who then asked me to forward all correspondence pertaining to this incident to her including ticket numbers, saying that she would call me back today 27 October 2016, but I still have not received any phone call.</p> <p> </p> <p>Can somebody please attend to this.</p>
