I am extremely frustrated and dissatisfied with the shocking level of incompetence and poor service from Compeg Property Management. I had outstanding levies on my property at Phoenix View Estate and took full responsibility by entering into a 6-month payment arrangement to settle the amount. I honoured this agreement and, as of the end of March, the account should be fully settled. Now, I am being told by their admin staff, Melusi and Susan, that they refuse to allocate my payments because I allegedly used an “incorrect reference”. This is completely unacceptable. I have NEVER consistently used that reference before, and at no point was this raised or enforced while I was making payments. To make matters worse, I am now being told that if they manually allocate the funds (which is THEIR administrative responsibility), I will be charged additional fees. This is outrageous and feels like an attempt to penalise me for their own lack of process and communication. I have made multiple follow-ups, wasting my time trying to resolve something that should be simple, yet I am met with resistance, zero accountability, and no willingness to assist. This is not just poor service — it is negligent and unprofessional. If this is not resolved urgently, I will have no choice but to escalate this matter further. Absolutely unacceptable.

Very disappointed in the service and lack of transparency of this company. As a body corporate they lack accountability. We have not had electricity for almost a week now because we have been disconnected. BC did not inform us of being behind with payments as a complex. They do not want to provide owners with proof of payments to show they have been paying, they don't want to provide us with the finances of the complex. They have changed portfolio managers so many times. Their entire service is absolutely unprofessional and shady. Extremely disappointed. If I could rate 0 star... I would

If I could give them 0 stars I would They are the managing agents of my building. The specific individuals assigned to my building are absolutely imposing to getbjn contact with No response to emails and do not pick up their extension when called Would 100% NOT recommend them Literally use any other managing agents besides them

I am writing to express my frustration with Compeg Property Management regarding their handling of my property at Greenacres, Turfontein West. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory. It appears that Compeg is not committed to resolving issues, as I have not received responses to my emails. I have been billed for amounts I have already paid, and I am now facing interest charges on these amounts, while Compeg is simultaneously earning interest on the same funds sitting in their account. The portfolio manager mentioned that they have hundreds, if not thousands, of unallocated deposits due to everyone paying into the same account. This situation is simply unacceptable. If Compeg genuinely wanted to assist, they could easily communicate with their banking partners to obtain depositor details, which would allow them to allocate the paid amounts correctly. Instead they insist that I provide confirmation of deposit which I no longer possess, although the caretaker and Trustees had sight at one point of the deposit slips and were satisfied that payment was made. I would appreciate any assistance in addressing this matter through HelloPeter. Thank you for your attention to this issue.
