Will an AGM make any difference to the indifference of their attitude?

I currently do not rate them at all, but let us see what comes out of the AGM this week. They are having their AGM at an upmarket venue in Johannesburg. It is the rare once a year opportunity when ordinary members, the "mere numbers", can address the executives. I, for one, is looking forward to some answers to questions that never got further than an automatic computer generated reply. I am sure that some of those executives have never realised that those "numbers" actually represent people. Real people that pay monthly subscriptions and who suffer illness, trauma, diseases and accidents. People who depend on their medical aid to see them as more than just numbers. People who depend on them for counselling, advice, refunds and the courtesy of replies. Am I an optimist?

Reviewer Update
After swift response from Michelle Bruce at the Compacre Universal head office, we had a fruitful meeting with Alida Knoetzen and Marlene Swanepoel at their Cape Town office. They have been great and many of the queries have been resolved through them. There are still a few big ones left but I am confident that they are not being ignored like before.
