Street tactics.

I had an accident last year and saw a GP, a dentist (unrelated) and others. Compcare would on a bi-weekly basis, send me fliers and other nonsense via email. What they failed to tell me was that my cover had expired. No warning, no reminder, just fliers and ads in my email. I had to fork out R1500 from my own pocket to pay the doctors. Stupidly, I renewed my membership.

That was in May.

Two days ago (October), they emailed me about paying them back R307, because they realised they'd erroneously paid my GP after my cover had expired. They threatened to even bring "collection services".

I'm done with you guys next year.

Correction: cover terminated March, not May.
