Spend 80% of my time sorting out Medical Aid issues

On Saturday when I ordered my son`s chronic monthly meds the pharmacy advised that medical aid had rejected his Truvalin as it exceeded the authorised number of fills. I would have to pay R 900 odd for it for the month`s supply.

How is this possible as he gets the Navalpro, Toplep and Truvalin monthly. It is now August. How can Truvalin be done and not the others. Something is seriously wrong here.

Please would you be able to pass this on to whoever deals with it as I`ve now asked the pharmacy to give me 2 days supply until this issue is sorted. It is an extremely urgent matter.

I`m certainly not paying R 900.00 when this should be coming off chronic. I have sent emails but have had no reply.

Thanks

Thank you. This is extremely urgent as I only have a few tablets left. If I look at the authorisation letter from your chronic department they have authorised 60 tablets for the month when Neurologist put on the script that it`s a tablet every 6 hours therefore 120 tablets a month not 60. Nothing has changed!
I also emailed a Doctor`s claim to your claims dept on the 3rd of August which only got acknowledged yesterday, the 15th of August after sending the email 3 times!!!! Is this a delay tactic?
My folks Ampath account from the 23rd of November 2021 is only getting sorted out now.
Appalling service and delay tactics!!!!
