CompCare - a COMPany that does not CARE

<p>In short: I am on the Mumed Medical Scheme. My Contributions from the Year 2016 to 2017 was increased by 22%. I contacted CompCare in order to reslove this matter and was sent a letter, stating that Members within a certain income bracket were to receive an increase between 22-33%. Ironically, I am paying the exact same amount as a New Member were to pay, if they decided to join this Year. It is absolute false advertising as their Website states an average increase of 9.69%. I will not name and shame, as I have corresponded (on writing) to numerous individuals, including a Manager and none of them are willing to assist. The last response I received was,</p> <p> </p> <p>"Mumed option had income categories in 2016, this however changes in 2017 to a standard rate, therefore the increase seems so much higher.</p> <p>Unfortunately there is no alternative rate for the package that you are on."</p> <p> </p> <p>The increase on my package does not SEEM higher, it is MUCH higher. Who can afford to pay R 459.00 on an increase alone for Medical. I will not accept it and if it comes to resloving this matter, hopefully, I can interact with a relevant authority.</p>
