They refuse to cancel my studies

I decided beginning of the year i want to finish my studies. Did my home work and signed up for the course. I have been paying every month since then. I am self employed, and my work load increased dramatically. And this has made it impossible for me to continue with my studies. For this reason I mailed College SA to ask for assistance to cancel my enrollment with them. They came back to me and said my request has been turned down. According to them i have to be dead or broke before they will help me. This is one of the most **** excuses I have ever heard. I don't want a refund just want to cancel. I am paying R870 every month for something I don't even use.
