Once full amount is paid, you are just another number.

I cannot begin to express how disappointed and angry I feel towards the college, the people involved and the services delivered to me. I would like to highlight a few matters below that can serve as an indication only of conversations going backwards and forwards.

During the enrolment process, everything was in order, I received all information I requested on time and eventually I was accepted. I was so excited to start with my studies and could not wait for my first delivery to arrive.

My tutor, Anton Mulder was very supportive, he phoned me at least 4 times a month to check in and find out how I was doing and he was always available when I needed assistance. Anton got promoted (I even commented on “Hello Peter” to ensure that everyone knew from my experience that Anton was great at his job). A new person, Whitney was assigned to me who was hardly available in the first place and was never able to assist me with my queries that eventually I just decided to figure it out myself. Apparently she left the company and nobody even bothered to inform me of a new tutor as I was told that they forgot to do so.

The 24th April 2015 – I had sent my final assessment to be marked which I failed and had to re-do it. The 24th February 2016 I sent an email with my assessment asking for my tutor (whoever it was) to assist and check where I needed to improve before sending the final document – with no response. I decided to forward it anyways as I have giving it my best and I received my marks back and passed.

The 4th March 2016 Edison Mutematemi emailed me the certificate application form for completion which I had sent back and he advised that it would take 21 working days. This was also sent to Edward in February with my updated details.

On the 7th March 2016 I was informed that I had not completed the Full Body Massage Therapy after I have explained many times over and over that it was completed and I passed with excellent marks.
On the 8th March 2016, I received an email indicating that it was my Introduction to Massage POE that was outstanding. Again after several emails and conversations I explained that I had sent it with my massage assessments all together. The same email was sent to me a few times, like nobody even bothered to read my email. This led to a lot of inconvenience as I was in the process of relocating from North West to Cape Town and it took a few weeks for my load to arrive because I had to go through all my assignments again.

On the 22nd May 2016, I re-send the documents again with the list of material books I received for the subject completion.
On the 23rd May 2016 another email was send stating that the Introduction to Massage POE was outstanding and that the study materials were sent to me on 12.03.2014.
On the 31st May 2016 I requested to have the contact details for the manager on duty as my emails and my conversations meant nothing – nobody responded.
On the 8th June 2016, I missed a call from Edward Meindertsma Miller and received an email stating again what assignment was outstanding – (red alert 286619).
After numerous conversations on the 12th June 2016, I emailed what I had to Edward, clearly he was not informed by his colleagues what was going on – no handover.
On the 24th June 2016 Edward emailed me a document to show what was outstanding. After many follow ups I received and email on the 15th August 2016 from Lorraine Moyo stating that she was waiting for my results to come back from the markers (which I have received months ago – again showing that there is no communication what so ever in the departments). Once results were received, she would process my diploma.
On the 22nd August 2016, Edward rep**** with a few certificate copies he located. He also mentioned that he had requested my course certificate and that I should receive it within the next 7 working days.
On the 9th September 2016 I followed up with Edward but received no response.
On the 17th October 2016 I tried again but was still unsuccessful.
On the 19th October 2016 Carol Ndamase emailed me to inform me that the certificates would have been dispatched on the 20th October 2016.

It is the 4th January 2017 – almost a year later and I have not received anything!!! This is ridiculous to say the least.

I expect to be compensated for this error as I was unable to proceed with my career due to the fact that I had no certificates / diploma to show. I have missed numerous job opportunities in the Beauty Industry and it made me look like an amateur. I am unable to be paid the salary that I should be getting for having qualifications due to their negligence.

I have requested for my certificates and my diploma to be signed with the date when my last subject was successfully completed. The copies I have received had the incorrect date.

I requested proper feedback before Monday, the 9th January 2017 – they reverted back stating that it would be delivered today.

A few minutes ago, I received a call from the UTI delivering services stating that my parcel is ready to be collected - after much frustration because the driver had no idea what I was talking about when I tried to explain to him where the building was and what it looked like. Only to realize that he was at my previous home address, Marble Hall after I have informed the college in February 2016 that I relocated to Cape Town!

This is ridiclous and I have never received such poor service from anyone.
