Where to begin, I came across a course of interest, looked at it in depth, looked at what modules will be covered,

I then inquired further, about what the prerequisites are, what the outcome upon completion will be in terms of certificates etc, aswell as payment structure,

This sounded doable financially, as the educational planner took me through a telephonic filling of details, things such as my name, my home address and ID number, things of that nature, the rest he said I would need to fill out and sign where applicable, he forwarded the documents and I signed where applicable, I then returned the signed documents via email, and asked via email if all is in order he assured me all is well, and that all that remains is the registration deposit and proof of said payment, 2 days later I've made payment and immediately said proof of payment, I was then asked via email if I studied at collegeSA to which my reply was yes, and as I wondered what does IT academy have to do with CollegeSA, I rep**** to the email and explained I did but never completed as per retrenchment and told him, I was under the impression that IT Academy is an academically institution on its own, only to be told they children companies of Optimi College, I got a reply back saying, his communicated with accounts, I rep**** and told him to make haste as I'm excited to get started, 10 days since that email and I got no reply on my last message, I proceeded to call, I got through to reception, which I requested if I can speak to this guy that has helped my application only for the line to go dead each and everytime, I then phoned again, and to no avail, as my airtime had been depleted aswell, I recharged my airtime and phoned and asked if I can speak to support, I asked if I could speak to the guy who helped me with my application, only for me to be told his off for two days,

Upon the numerous calls I've made whole week I'm told that due to my debt at CollegeSA I'm unable to register at IT Academy, here is what baffles me when I asked what about the deposit I made with a very specific reference number, for a very specific product I'm told since Optimi College is the parent company, the deposit fee will contribute towards my debt at CollegeSA

What baffles me is that this money I deposited was not declared as a debt payment, nor were any correspondence about a payment structure or date upon which I can pay the debt, the email I received two days ago from accounts were, I'm in arrears, I should notify when Ill be able to make payment,

I've not had a dialog with accounts about this debt, yet the money for the deposit I payed for, for a special purpose for the course at IT Academy suddenly is used as contributory towards my debt, I have not signed off on this nor have I declared it, I bought a specific product, this is malpractice of business, inadequate screening of a potentonal student, and inability to flag my registration and stop all procedures before funds were payed, being bounced around from one department to the next, requested refund, not a single indiviual at this institution has any concrete solutions for me
