Terrible Service
I booked and paid in full for the Bubblicious Bestie Special via Coco Vogue’s “Deals” page for myself and friends. Initially, I booked for 3 people even though the special was for 4. Later, I added a 4th person well in advance via WhatsApp and made sure the booking team acknowledged this to avoid any confusion.
However, upon completing only our manicures and pedicures, I was suddenly informed that I needed to pay an extra R650 for the 4th person — despite the fact that my booking and payment were already made online, and no one had ever mentioned any additional costs beforehand.
To make matters worse, we never received our massages, which were part of the advertised “Bubblicious Bestie Special.” When I raised this with the receptionist/manager, I was repeatedly told “it’s our policy,” and when she tried to contact the owner/manager, she was brushed off. The owner/manager never once came to speak to me directly, even though I requested to resolve the matter calmly and respectfully.
What made this even more upsetting was the public humiliation I experienced in front of my friends and a prospective client. I wasn’t upset about the money itself — I simply wanted clarity and fairness — but the way the situation was handled was unprofessional and dismissive.
The only positive part of the experience was the lovely the******s, who did their best to make us comfortable. It was also clear that even they were unaware of the confusion surrounding the booking and were caught off guard.
I have WhatsApp screenshots confirming the 4th guest and the special as advertised on the website. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend Coco Vogue Beauty Spa and hope management takes this feedback seriously to prevent this from happening to other customers.
