Please Replace Cap????

So my husband buys a 2lt Coke today, I go to pour a glass and shockingly, there's a note printed on the lid... It says *"Please Replace Cap"*

I mean, *** would they like me to replace the cap with??? Seriously... its sudden and I'm unprepared!! I don't even know where to buy spare caps!!!!

I'm worried now.... I feel like Coke should elaborate?! The cap should come with further instructions. So many unanswered questions:

1. What changed about the cap? 2. How come the previous cap never needed replacing? 3. How many 'uses' is the cap good for before I need to replace it? What if the answer is one? Then do I need to decant my coke right now?
