Permitting ***** on an account

I have been a store owner in the Vaal which wholesaled and retailed grocery consumables. I had sold my store and consequently closed all accounts. New tenants had bought my business and traded in grocery consumables as well. The ABI representative knowing full well that I am no longer in business and without my consent, allowed the new tenants to trade on my previous account details!!<br> The tenant ran up a bill of R16 000 and skipped town! I had been contacted by the credit department a few months later informing me that the account was overdue. I contacted the representative, he apologised and assured me that the error would be remedied!<br> I continued to be contacted and mailed by ABI. I then contacted the legal department and was given assurances from them too. <br> It has been brought to my attention that a judgement has been taken out on my name!<br> I am appalled and disgusted by the incompetence displayed by ABI, considering that ABI has had over two years to correct their mistake and allowed ***** to be perpetrated in the first place!
