Multiple 2l Coke bottles without gas

I recently purchased a bunch of "4-pack" Cokes from a retailer, and the majority of them is without gas - Unfortunately one only discovers this after opening the bottle and rendering it nonreturnable. I find it unacceptable that a large corporation like Coca-Cola does not have the necessary quality inspections in place to prevent this from happening - It leaves the customer facing the loss for a bad product.
