Massive Price Increase Unacceptable

The new proposed increase on the 300ml returnable glass bottle is so totally unacceptable. Fairly, an increase is effective since the product has not increased in a few years but the increase should have be done marginally, year on year, when the annual increases occurred, Surely a 75% INCREASE on a product is unrealistic at one go since people's income and inflation rates go up at an average of 10% p.a. Being a returnable bottle, it is renowned for being a cost-effective product unlike the other pack sizes but with this increase, people will surely switch over to other pack sizes and in the latest edition of Time Magazine,it is mentioned that the century old bottle is not only an iconic consumer good but also an inspiration for some of America's greatest pop culture artists. This is also relevant to loyal Coca-Cola drinkers of South Africa if Coca-Cola South Africa does understand its loyal customers and Coke *****s. The proposed price increase needs to be reviewed again and although a price increase is necessary, it should be marginal and rational so that people will still buy the product at a reasonable price and not be out priced by a 75% price increase.
