Coca Cola Broken Promises
On the 20th November 2020 I had contact Coca Cola to complain that 2x 2litre bottles I had stored in my kitchen cupboard had leaked and caused damage to the woodwork of my cupboard and caused mould to start growing in the wood. On the 4th December 2020, a representative had collected the 2 'sealed' bottles in question and had mentioned he would get someone from their bottling department to call me regarding the damages. I received a call on 9th December from a representative from bottling(ccba group) and I explained the situation and that I would like to claim for the damages to be repaired. He asked me to send an email which I did. After follow up request, I received an email on 4 Jan 2021 stating " The manufacturing plant has advised me that there were no manufacturing defects detected during production and the damages noted may have been induced during handling and or storage of the product. Purely in the interest of consumer satisfaction the plant has agreed to pay for the repair to your cupboard. In order for us to proceed, we will need the following documentation... ". All documents were sent through and I have been waiting ever since. The representative I deal with keeps asking me to send an email so he can follow up as he thought it was paid. Its been 5 months now and still nothing. Is this the way Coca Cola SA operates. All promises but nothing at the end... Just keep us hanging
