Handbrake failure Renault Triber

Good day

We had a horrific experience with our new Renault Triber the 10th of November 2024. The car rolled in the yard and hit the gate, while the handbrake was up. We contacted them and were told to bring the car in for them to check and they said that there was nothing wrong with the handbrake.

We later tried it in the yard and the car still moved, ND were told about the number of clicks that one had to pull up to, with such such disrespect and even shouted at like little kids. We are just glad that this did not cause any harm to our kids on anyone else. Need to know if there is any recourse regarding this
