SOLD ME A BROKEN CAR - within 1 year, warranty expired and engine broken

<p>On 30 June 2016 I bought a Ford Fiesta 2013 Model, the consultant did the inspection and pointed out minor damages. As I continued driving the car, other minor damages started appearing, which raised eyebrows as the car was sold to me as a rusty/broken metal.</p> <p><br />In April 2017, the car slowed down and could not drive at a speed higher than 80kph, and on a steep no higher than 20kph. After making extensive calls and speaking to both Ford Lazarus, Centurion and Ford CMH, Hatfield, I got a call to bring the car to CMH and they will fix it in no time.<br /><br />I did as such and to my surprise, it took them a call from me, after 5 hours from dropping the car, for them to give me feedback. The car was only really diagnosed the following day, which then meant that I had already spent 4 nights without a car and when they came back to me this what they said:<br />"Your car is out of warranty, and you would have to pay R75,000 for us to fix the engine"<br /><br />How does one fix an engine of a car for half the amount they bought the car, in less than a year?<br /><br />CMH Kempster Ford Hatfield sold me this car with complete knowledge that the car is in ruins. They knew that the engine was damaged adn that is the reason why they cleverly ommitted to mention the warranty period and they only drew my attention to the kilometre.</p>
