SHOCKING SERVICE FROM CMH

SHOCKING SERVICE! We purchased an Suzuki Carry for our business in April 2021 & have been very happy. Based on this, we purchased another one, exactly the same in October 2022. This time we took out a full service / maintenance plan!

The clutch on the new vehicle has just gone! Only 4 months old! We sent it into CMH to check on our warranty / maintenance plan! They have charged us R 3500 to strip the vehicle to see what caused the problem. They have since informed us that the vehicle was damaged by driver error! They sent us a quote for R 13,277 to replace the clutch.

We did some research & found out that the work can be carried out by a reputable dealer for less than half of this price!

CMH then informed me that I would lose my warranty if I had the vehicle repaired anywhere other than CMH.

We have a similar vehicle that is 2 years old with no issues. This new vehicle is 4 months old. The clutch has failed & they say it's driver error! The quote to repair the vehicle is double what it should be! If we get it done by someone else at 50% less than their grossly inflated price, we lose our warranty!
