Kia Sportage Sold to me with dents and issues I wonder how it passed roadworthy

<p>I must add that since we agreed for Byron to sort out these issues I have received NO instructions to expedite the repairs other than me taking the KIA to Dent N All for a quotation.</p> <p> </p> <p>Herewith and attached, problems to date that needs to be resolved:</p> <p> </p> <p>· AA test to be done in Cape Town ( A MUST )</p> <p>· Loan car provided please whilst the KIA is been repaired</p> <p>· Shocks to be tested as the back RHS makes a terrible squeaky noise</p> <p>· Dents to be repaired as well as bad scratch marks / body repairs from passed damages protruding through the paint work on front and back bumpers and RHS back of car both doors as well as passenger side at back window and dents on bonnet. (please see attached quotation for your perusal and You welcome to get a second Quote)</p> <p>· Windscreen wiper passenger side to be replace and rear</p> <p>· LHS back flicker light not working (changes the bulb and told its perhaps a wire damaged when they fitted the tow bar – I’m no expert as we never got to test anything)</p> <p>· Boot lights (inside) not working and boot does not close by itself it must be pushed down completely by hand to close</p> <p>· Manual to be sent to me (no manual in car)</p> <p>· License is about to expire, Alta said there is an outstanding fine? I`m not aware of & would come back to me on this?</p> <p>· Handbrake not working properly ….</p> <p>· Back windscreen brake light covered in thick dust sitting behind the inside windscreen – this is a safety feature and can’t be seen during the day..</p> <p>· Drivers electric window making a terrible grinding noise ..started today !</p> <p>· RHS back Shock needs to be looked at – will show whoever comes to collect the vehicle</p> <p>· Passenger windscreen wiper has a 10mm tear in it so needs to be replaced…..</p> <p>· Back windscreen wiper needs to be replaced as well..</p> <p>· I’m confident this car was on a farm or sitting in a yard for a couple of months? as there is dust between the rubbers, in the air vents, in all the places it can possibly sit but can’t be easily cleaned …</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>PERHAPS: Arrange for the Kia to be evaluated by an independent company to compare My findings and perhaps find more faults or disagree with my findings?</p> <p>As per the attachment you will clearly see that I am being factual…</p> <p> </p> <p>I must place on record that the gentleman at Dents N All in Montague Gardens that Alta arranged for me to send the Kia too found it hard to believe I bought a car in this condition</p> <p> </p> <p>Byron it’s almost a week ….To date I have not heard from your Cape Town Branch and in fact I’m the one driving around to get quotes to sort out these issues.</p> <p> </p> <p>I urgently need to take the KIA to an Auto Electrician tomorrow for the back flicker light and boot lights to be repaired. I don’t want to cause an accident or get a fine so please have Alta call a company in Montague Gardens and arrange for me to bring the KIA in for these repairs Byron</p> <p> </p>
