Appalling Service from CMH Peugeot East Rand
On 18 September 2025, I brought my car in for a major service, which included a cambelt change. The car was in the workshop for two days. After the service, the vehicle began jerking during acceleration and braking. I contacted the representative, Thaeer, who advised me to bring the car back. On 30 October 2025, I returned the car and was told the issue might be due to spark plugs or clogging. I was quoted R2,000 to have the spark plugs replaced. I replaced the plugs else where but the jerking problem persists. To make matters worse, about a week ago, a red oil warning light appeared. When I checked at a filling station, the oil level was extremely low, and I had to top up with two tins of oil. This is unacceptable after a major service. I had my car serviced to prevent problems, not to face ongoing issues and additional costs. This experience has caused inconvenience and raised serious concerns about the quality of service and attention to detail at the dealership
