Absolutely worst service possible
CMH Mahindra Clearwater must be the worst service center experience I have ever had. There is no way that you are able to get any service worse than this.
On Tuesday 21 October 2025 I called for a quotation to have my Mahindra vehicles clutch replaced. I then myself had to phone and be transfered between the parts department and the service center in order to get the quotation, make the payment and book the car is for a service on Thursday 23 October 2025. At the time of making the reservation for the service and at the time of booking the car in for the service, I mentioned mentioned that would need the car before the following Thursday. I made arrangements, booked and paid for anaccomodation for that weekend I would been my car before that day. I was told that the replacement of the clutch would take two to three day, which brings it to the Monday before the Thursday that I need my car. At the same time as booking the car in for the replacement of the clutch I asked them to also do an oil change and there was an oil leak on the engine and they also need to check the drives haft coupling to the ITM unit since it was warn and broken.
On Friday 24 October 2025, in the afternoon, they informed me of the cost of replacing of a gasket and the proshaft coupling to the ITM unit. As a result we're waiting another two days for those parts and I was informed that the car will only be ready on Thurday.
On Thursday afternoon I enquire about when my car would be ready, I am told that they are busy replacing the gearbox, and that the car needs to go for a test drive the next morning.
Now my question was, if the car was originally booked in a week earlier, specifically to replace the clutch, why is it that they are only doing so now.l, since technically the car sould have been ready in the Monday and I pre-ordered the parts in order to speed up the time it would take to repair the clutch. When the gasket and coupling arrived on Tuesday afternoon. They could have easily been replaced on Wednesday.
The excuse as to why the gearbox is only being fitted on Thursday afternoon, is that they had other vehicles to attend to as well, not just my car.
Needless to say it is now 10h50 on Friday 31 October 2025 and I still do not have my car.... apparently it will be ready by 13h00 this afternoon. As it is, it is by now far to late to travel 400km for a weekend journey that was supposed to start at daylight on Thursday morning.
Absolute terrible service to say the least. The next concern is, how reliable and trustworthy is this "attempt" to repair the vehicle going to be. We'll have to wait and see.
