A service was booked and paid for in advance, MAZDA CMH did not service my vehicle.

I hope many individuals think twice before visiting CMH Mazda for a service or maintenance. They actually return your vehicle, charge you and let you leave with your vehicle.

On the 16 November 2018, I sent my vehicle in for a major service (Receipt number ***9). I paid R3500 in full. In August 2019 I was informed by an alternate mechanic that my vehicle was not serviced at all. The oil, spark plugs, airfilter, etc was not changed, even though i had paid for it. On the 07th of August 2019, I reported this to MAZDA CMH and spoke to Mr Lall Ganasram and Phillip (who I usually deal with closely).

However, the above employees have made several excuses and blamed me instead, saying that my vehicle did not require replacement parts or oil during that service.

After checking my air filter, i noticed a 2011 date. This means that the filter was never changed at any of my services with mazda!

To make matters worse, i have paid for and replaced many other parts with Mazda CMH. My question is, how many other times has Mazda done this to me, where they have charged me for parts and service but have not done it or replaced the part?

The manager then finally rep**** saying it was 'before his employment'.

The complaints department at Mazda (Farane), merely acted as an intermediary. They have thrown out the case because of the year 2011 being mentioned!

There was a lack of willingness to assist me from all departments at Mazda. FARANE, being apart of the case couldn't even recall what had happened properly.

It is clear that the customer gets the worse end of the stick when we complain.

I hope to take the matter to Court soon. I do not appreciate being abused in this way! It is clearly an abuse of the LAW!

What makes matters worse is that i am female and i do not know mechanics at all.
