Really Disappointing Service - Gutted

I've Really disappointing service from CMH ford. There seems to be an obsession with replacing instead of fixing stuff from Ford workshops.

I took my car in because there was an issue with power, it was just not performing well. They did a diagnosis and said that the cylinder has an issue and as a result one spark plug now has oil. Instead of doing a full engine strip and fixing the issue, they want to replace the whole engine. Nothing about draining the oil out or replacing the seals, casket or any other related. They want to replace the whole engine although the issue is with the plugs (possibly just the worn-out seals).. I find this to be really poor, lazy work, inconsiderate, money making scheme and also very *********** from CMH ford hatfield.

The quote for an engine sits at R 185 000, for a car with a market value of 120 000, imagine. To add salt to the wound, the service adviser was really not forth coming, I had to go to the dealership to get updates, every single time.

To say I'm disappointed and gutted is an understatement. I expected the people who know these cars to do a much better job, instead of this lazy ways out of problems. I mean we really trust these guys to do expert work and give expert advice, not just expect us to blow so much money up. I am never buying anything Ford so I don't have to deal with such
