Ford Hatfield and Ford SA

To whom this may concern

I sincerely hope that this email will come to the right persons from Ford …. I have a 2017 3,2 L Ford Everest limited the car started giving problems in Dec 2021 when it had 101000km on the clock while driving down to Plettenberg bay for our holiday on our way down the car kept on revving up when I over take as it was looking to select a gear, took it to Ford Mosselbay and they did a diagnostic on it and said it had an open circuit on the harnes of the transfer case told me I must take it back to Ford Hatfield as they worked on this car before …. Took it back to Ford Hatfield and it was diagnosed with a faulty transfer case motor replaced it at my cost of R20,000 as there was no willingness from Ford to do a goodwill car stood at Hatfield Ford for over 2 weeks then got fixed and 3 days after collecting the car it did exactly the same then took it back and the workshop manager Christopher took the car with me for a test drive where he saw the problem the car then went in for another 3-4 weeks and Ford did a goodwill claim of 75 % to replace the gearbox I had to contribute another R25,000 to fix the problem it has been less than 3000 km driven with the car after it got fixed and it broke down today with my family in pilansberg national park had to get a roll back truck at great expense to take the car back to pta so I can get it inspected Tuesday after the public Holiday…

What I want to know and understand is what service is Ford giving to its customers on a flag ship car and why after numerous break downs and failures have Ford not taken ownership to fix and ensure a family safe car ?

At the moment I have lost all my faith in this Brand and sincerely hope to get some sort of feedback on what Ford SA will do about something like this or is it a tuff luck situation?

Can someone from Ford please get in contact with me ?
