CMH FORD HATFIELD
In March 2022 I bought my car at FORD HATFIELD which was an exciting moment and milestone in my life, but little did I know of the dissatisfying level of service I experienced after I had taken the car. Fast forward to August 2022 Hardly 4 months into the deal, the motor on the car brokedown without any warning. I contacted the dealership FORD HATFIELD and they advised I should tow the car in for some checks to what could be the issue which I did immediately and that was the last of it. I guess as soon as they realised how big the issue was their first point of interest was how could they save money and not account for this issue and yes they found a point, the vihicle as they say was overdue for service by +-1000km out of which since the delivery of the car I had only done about+-3500km, but the question I ask is why did they not service the car before I took delivery since the service requirements was due in such close proximity, mind you I mention all this information cause upon delivery of the car I had signed and acknowledged that the car would need to come in for service in September 2022 and as a first time buyer I had not been informed of any specific km when the car needs to be serviced except that month of September, and that's not the end of it. The dealership went as far as making alterations to my delivery file in filtering some specific mileage when the car had to come in for service which I had not signed for. My matter is now with the ombudsman and awaits an outcome which is taking some time, and the manager Peter Erasmus is so arrogant about it claiming he had won many cases of this nature and is not moved by the ombudsman. I edge and advise you to be extra cautious when dealing with this dealership, they lack accountability and ownership and clearly not people centred but driven by profit and financial greed.
