No responsibility for damaging my driveway entrance

Cloud Logistics’ vehicle crashed into the entrance of my driveway when doing a delivery. I contacted them regarding this and they asked me to send pictures, which I did. They then told me to send them a letter from my insurance company, confirming that I would not be claiming from my own insurance, which I did.

Every time I requested information about the progress of the claim, I was told they were still busy with it. Finally, they informed me that they would not be paying off this claim as it was raining on the day of the incident and therefore it was not the driver's fault that he crashed into my driveway entrance. Not only was their excuse ridiculous, but now I can also not claim from my own insurance as I forfeited this right, as per Cloud Logistics’ request to do so.

Do not use them.

Thank you for your post. The claim was referred to Cloud Logistics Insurance Company and the insurance company has refuted the claim. After investigating they found that the insured driver was not the cause of the collision. The collision was caused by the surface that was slippery and that the driver was not negligent. We have communicated with the client and suggested to approach his insurance company in order for them to communicate to Cloud logistics insurance to have the claim resolved.
