Beware of online **** artists

I booked a door-to-door delivery service on 08-08-2023. According to their website, if the booking is made before 11am, it will be for the same day. I made the booking at 09:35

On 11-08-2023 there had been no further updates (using their website's tracking function) and I tried contacting a service consultant. The only method of communication was via their chat services (either through the website or WhatsApp).

It took ages for the consultant to respond to my messages and once she (Portia) did respond, it was curt and not helpful.

She indicated that the delay was due to the public holiday and taxi strikes in the area.

When contacting the person at the pickup point, she indicated that all roads are open and safe for use.

I requested that my package be collected and delivered with urgency.

Today (14-08-2023 at 10:35) there have been no changes/ updates. Portia continues to take her time in responding to my queries both online and via WhatsApp.

Do yourself a favour, spend a little more and use a different courier. At least you know your package will be delivered if you do.
