Union club building, a homeless shelter we pay rent of 4k at but nothing works…ever

Union club building, 67 Joubert street, Johannesburg .Words doesn’t even describe the feelings and emotions I have regarding poor communication and poor poor infrastructure of this flat of which you make us live like delinquents, hooligans or even squatters for so much money we paying every month.Today is the 25/03/2024 5 days ago we had a generator that supposedly was to assist the building but it was taken after the building didn’t have electricity for the whole week, NO COMMUNICATION and no one is responding to tenants as Zolisa (caretaker) and building manager Boitumelo are not responding to any of our enquiries whatsoever, they hide when s#/* hit the fan. Every month the building demands rent but they don’t deliver to our needs, we have families staying there with groceries in the fridge and things get rotten, all the blame is being shifted to city power but confusingly so it’s always only UNION CLUB BUILDING. On that note we still don’t have water since last year we complained but given a pump story that for years they still don’t fix it and on that still the above mentioned persons always says the same story like a broken records yet “they don’t know ,Joburg water is responsible “of which it’s only upper floors on UNION CLUB affected. City property is quick to add to our credit score that gets affected if payment is delayed, i will not refer anyone ever again to the building and building management because it’s all disappointments left, right and centre. It is a shame you don’t take care of existing tenants. A homeless person is better because they not paying anything but we live the same as them.
