Traumatic events
Disappointing service From a seemingly distinguished company.
These past few months - and especially the last week, traumatic events have taken place at the Corner Place building in Arcadia, Pretoria There have been incidences of unruly characters entering and causing a raucous. These are not tenants even. The recently installed security guards seem non-chalant/ passive - not to say for why most complaints brought forward are not resolved/ resolved much later. If it was a matter of leaking taps or used light bulbs, one wouldn't have a reason to complain or put this forward. but for a building that was up until recently deemed safe with reputable efficient services, this has been highly disappointing. May management look into the recent spate of unseemingly characters (not tenants) having access to the building, causing a raucous to the extent that security stands back while all this is happening (how did they gain access? Is it fair or safe because families reside there - families who work hard to live in a decent building?) So many questions! What makes my blood boil even now and made me resort to this platform is a lady seems to have been attacked or is being continuously assaulted (up until this very morning. REPEATEDLY for four days.) This is on the third floor. This is day and night. By what sounds like multiple men/individuals (simultaneously) Upon enquiry, you would find most tenants would be aware of it as it is loud, incessant and traumatising. You couldnt mistake that. What of the children that are experiencing/encountering this? Most people would (understandably) be too scared to confront these tenants as it is not something where you'd want to endanger your life or that of your families, yet what to do? Why has the caretaker ignored this? Are there unruly ******* activities taking place? Money being passed around hence the quiet? Does one call the police to get involved for domestic disturbance/ assault/ solicitation, etc? when does this end? It clearly can't end well if left unresolved.
I think if we can ATLEAST get our peace and safety back. Restrict access to the building. tighten security...we'd just deal with general maintenance issues like broken light bulbs? I feel alternately enraged and traumatised even now. What about the children and more vulnerable?
Can't we investigate what's happening and why everyone seems mum on this issue?
