The Fields apartments in Hatfield worst ever customer service!

I have been staying since 2014 and recently moved out dec 2016 only to be refunded a deposit R600.00 less than what i had paid. So i call to find out why, answered by Charmaine Van Reenen apparently a credit controller , rude wouldnt even give me a chance to speak; she eventually hangs the phone on me.

Worst service ever, this gives City Property a bad name,

so to my surprise the 600 is for putting my "notice to vacate" a day late, how is a whole month a day late??? they require 20 day notice, i had 31 days in my notice. please stop ripping people off city property!!!!

Dear Nthaby,
As per confirmation with the Manager of The Fields she had a telephone discussion with you on 11 January 2017 with regard to your enquiry. In this conversation she explained to you the refund and deductions to you, and you indicated that you understood.
As per reference to your account an amount of just over R3600 was refunded to you and not the R600 indicated in your initial report. Please peruse your bank statements to ensure that these funds were paid into your bank account. Should this not be true, you are welcome to contact us with proof that less than the mentioned amount was paid into your bank account. As soon as we receive this information we will investigate the matter and take the necessary corrective action where needed.

hi, my deposit was 4290, where is the remaining? why am i being refunded 3600 only? The only outstanding amount i had been made aware of before i vacated was a 153.97 which came up in the statement i received 20 Dec 2016. apart from that they mentioned repairs worth R75. So where is the rest of the costs popping up from? why wasnt i informed of these in my 20th Dec 2016 statement ? why are these coming up only when im supose to receive my deposit.

its funny how random costs come up when deposits have to be paid back. a breakdown given to me of costs unknown to me when im supose to receive my deposit? how convenient. As mentioned on my previous post, why did this not come up in the statement sent ot me on the 20th Dec 2016??

since i have been staying there in 2014, and in years prior to that moving in and out, i have never had surprise costs coming up in my months ahead of what i owed in my statements. As i had also mentioned i am well aware of the R75 for repairs and 153.97 as per my Dec 20th statement. water and sewerage charges for the month of Dec 2016 need not amount to more than R200 as this is for 1 month.

Dear Nthaby,
Your water and sewerage were for more than one month, everything has been clearly explained to you telephonically and per the very easy to understand breakdown.
Please contact us for an appointment in order to explain this to you once again as you clearly do not understand the statement.
We have provided you with the Customer Experience Manager's contact details per the email sent this morning.
Kind regards,
City Property Customer Service Team.
